How Cubcall handles information for parent accounts and child profiles

Last updated October 4, 2026

Cubcall is a family messaging service managed by adult parents and legal guardians, with profiles for their children. Parents are the account holders and authorize their children’s access. Children also use the service and generate information through their profiles; this policy covers both parents and children.

Parent account information

We collect the parent’s mobile phone number, name when provided, family membership, and account login and approval records. We use this information to authenticate parents, manage family access, process child access requests, and deliver account-related messages.

Child profile information

We collect a child’s first name or nickname, chosen pet and pet name, profile associations, and chat messages with friends and pets. A child can begin a signup request before approval; the parent authorizes access before chatting begins. We use profile information to personalize the experience and provide messaging.

Messages sent to another child are available to that recipient. Pet conversations are processed by our AI service provider to generate replies. Other authorized parents in the same family can access shared profile information and manage children’s and pets’ names.

Support and service information

When you write Cubcall with a question or to ask for help, we'll keep that correspondence and the contact information you share for future reference. When you browse our marketing pages, we may track that for statistical purposes. We also store information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as it makes sense.

We'll never sell your personal information to third parties, and we won't use a child's name in marketing statements without a parent's permission.

The only times we'll ever share your information:

  • With service providers that help us operate Cubcall, including hosting, message delivery, and AI processing. They receive information needed for those services, such as destination phone numbers for text delivery and pet conversation content for generating replies.
  • To investigate or prevent illegal activities, threats to physical safety, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  • If Cubcall is acquired by or merged with another company, we'll notify you before information about you or your child is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Mobile numbers & text messages

We use adult parents’ and guardians’ mobile numbers for authentication, login links or codes, child access requests, family invitations, and related account notifications. The recipient must consent to receive texts; a child or another parent entering a number does not itself establish the recipient’s consent.

Cubcall does not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose information to messaging service providers only as needed to deliver and operate the messaging service.

Message frequency varies. Frequency depends on login attempts, child access requests, and family account activity.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of Cubcall texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact support@cubcall.xyz.

Children's Privacy

Children use Cubcall through profiles authorized by an adult parent or legal guardian. Parent ownership of an account does not change our responsibility to handle children’s information appropriately. A parent or guardian must approve access before a child can chat. We do not condition a child's participation on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary. We do not use children's information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell children's personal information.

A parent or guardian may review, update, request deletion of their child’s information, or withdraw permission for further collection by contacting support@cubcall.xyz.

Law Enforcement

Cubcall won't hand your data over to law enforcement unless a court order says we have to. We reject requests from local and federal law enforcement when they seek data without a court order. Unless we're legally prevented from doing so, we'll inform you when such requests are made.

Encryption

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. Database backups are also encrypted. Sensitive data, such as a parent's phone number, is stored securely while it is live in our database.

Deleted Data

When an account is cancelled, we'll ensure that nothing is stored on our servers past 30 days. Anything you delete while an account is active will also be purged within 30 days.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain uses of your information.

To exercise these rights, contact support@cubcall.xyz.

Cubcall may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you about significant changes by placing a prominent notice on our site.
